The enthusiastic fans of Dynamos left the Giyani Stadium with sore hearts, after their home team unexpectedly dropped three vital points at the hands of Winnerspark on Sunday. The Mvela Golden League match ended with a 2-0 victory for Winnerspark.

Ri khomeni ri nga peli realized that it was not their day when their left flank, Ayanda Lumkwane, scored from the far left corner in the 5th minute. The goal was disallowed on the basis that his team mate, Lefu Nyapuli, was on an offside position.

The referee, Mr Peter Mabuza, flashed the first yellow card in the 14th minute. Sbusiso Nhlapo of Winnerspark tackled Ayanda Lumkwane roughly and the referee was quick to produce a yellow card. The visitors from Polokwane found the net in the 25th minute. Their midfielder-cum-striker, Morgan Shivambu, beat the Dynamos keeper, Swadick Sanudi, with a long-range volley. The score was still 1-0 when Mabuza blew the half-time whistle.

Dynamos lost their central defender, Irvin Zwane, early in the second half. The injured Zwane was replaced with Joseph Mthombeni. The technical staff for Dynamos confronted the referee in anger, accusing him of favouritism. The situation was calmed when the referee gave the team’s head coach, Lifa Qosha, his marching orders.

Dynamos effected another change later in the game when they introduced Errol Khoboko for Bryan Mosito. Khoboko was warned with a card moments after his introduction. Morgan Shivambu completed his brace in the 84th minute to give Winnerspark a 2-0 victory.
