Muvhuso Nedzanani of Makwarela and Jose Jimenez of Venezuela will fight for the vacant WBF junior flyweight title during a tournament staged by Tshiawelo Boxing Promotions at the Thohoyandou Indoor Sports Centre on Friday, June 1.

The fight is scheduled over 12 rounds. It will be second time for Muvhuso to fight in his home town, Thohoyandou. He beat the Eastern-Cape-based Mfundo Gwanyana with a TKO in the sixth round at the same venue in February this year.

The main supporting bout will be between Nkosinathi Tshinavhe and Siyabonga Nyanga. The bantamweight fight is scheduled over six rounds. Tshinavhe is a local boy while Nyanga is based in the Eastern Cape. The fact is that Tshinavhe is rated number three and Nyanga is rated second in the country, and that is a reason on its own for local boxing fanatics to expect a thriller.

Mphambanyeni Khaphathe from the local stables and Kenneth Hlaisi from Gauteng will exchange blows in their middleweight fight that is scheduled over six rounds. The fight that will follow thereafter will be between Sipho Mukhithi and Lucas Moganei.

Pfariso Neluvhalani and Phathutshedzo Dongola will battle it out in their light featherweight fight over six rounds. The other bouts will be between Mbulaheni Mudau vs Collins Morei, Nester Bolou vs Balanganani Ndou and Mphatheleni Ndou and Lawrence Mathebula.
