Musina High School’s U/15 soccer team will represent the Vhembe West region at the provincial Pan African Schools Cup, set to take place in Polokwane.

Musina secured their place by defeating Sinthumule High 4-0 in the regional final held at the Makhado Show Grounds on Saturday.

Musina High coach Theo Maoka said the team was determined to go all the way this year. “My boys are looking forward to this challenge,” he said. “Rewarding the loyal community of Vhembe, who have supported the team from the beginning, is important.”

Maoka expressed satisfaction with the team’s form and preparation, adding that support from the school’s principal and teachers had been key. “Just reaching the provincial finals has boosted the boys' confidence and motivation,” he said.

In the U/15 girls’ category, Renaissance High, also based in Musina, will represent the district in the provincial play-offs.
