Will Musina United pay for Vhadau’s defeat?

Another busy weekend awaits teams campaigning in the ABC Motsepe League Limpopo Stream.

The match not to be missed will be between Musina United and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) at the Musina Old Mine Stadium on Saturday. Both teams lost their matches last weekend: TTM were beaten 2-0 by Mpheni Defenders, while United lost 2-1 to Vondwe XI Bullets at the Makonde Stadium.

United head coach Sanny Dube is confident that TTM will be lucky to hold his team to a draw. Speaking ahead of the match, Dube said he had watched video clips of TTM and had a plan to humiliate them.

TTM head coach Lucky Nelukau responded by saying that the three key players who had watched last Saturday’s game against Mpheni Defenders from the grandstand because of injury would be available for selection. He stressed that everyone in their camp was aware that failure to beat United would put their promotion chances in jeopardy.

TTM, also known as Vhadau vha Damani, have collected only one point from their two league matches so far.

Mpheni Defenders will host Phalaborwa United at the Mpheni Grounds, while Lebash Football Academy and The Dolphins will battle for points at the Ben Serake Stadium in Senwabarwana.

After beating Phalaborwa United 1-0 at the Makhado Show Grounds last Saturday, Mukondeni Young Chiefs will travel to Nkowankowa to face Nkowankowa Continentals at the Nkowankowa Stadium outside Tzaneen. Other fixtures are White Vultures vs Tzaneen United and Baduzah Celtics vs Vondwe XI Bullets.
