Manaledzi High demolished Eric Louw High 8-2 in their Coca Cola Fortune Inter-Secondary Cup match, which was played at Benny’s Care Stadium on Saturday.
Manaledzi approached the match with their tails high and dictated terms in all departments. They scored five quick goals in succession. Mpho “Masilela” Mavhandu scored in the 8th, 12th, 18th, 27th and 36th minute and Manaledzi found another goal a little later, when Afro Mafunisa unleashed a powerful ground cutter from a long distance to bring the half-time score to 5-0 in favour of Manaledzi.
In the second half, the boys from Musina came with a new pattern and scored in the 49th minute via Richardt Chauke, who received a marvelous pass from Gift Ndou. He did not waste any time to place a shot in the far corner.
Manaledzi replaced Afro Mafunisa with Tinashe Mudau and continued to put pressure on the lads from Musina. In the 53rd minute, Eric Louw scored their second goal, when their kingping, Caiphus Singo, hit the net with a beautiful header.
Mpho Mavhandu was again on target after receiving a beautiful pass from Tendani Ramabulana. After the goal, the players from Eric Louw started to display rough tackling skills, thus spoiling the match. The referee, Livhuwani Muthevhuli, calmed the situation by flashing four yellow cards in quick succession.
Manaledzi found the seventh goal in the 74th minute when Tinashe Mudau scored from a difficult angle, which left the keeper as a spectator. The boys from Musina fought hard in search of goals, but could not find their way through the rock solid defence of Manaledzi, manned by Vhuthsilo Mafunisa and Collen Davhana.
Mpho Mavhandu scored his sixth goal in the 86th minute, when he received the ball from the centre line and passed it to the advancing Tendani Ramabulana. Ramabulana passed it back to Mavhanda, who was on target again, bringing the final

In 2005 Kaizer received an award from the province's premier as Best Sports Presenter. The same year he was also nominated as Best Sports Reporter by the Makhado Municipality.
