Tshakhuma Spar will be the centre of attraction next Saturday evening, November 28. That is where Venda Boxing Promotions will stage a professional boxing tournament.
Six bouts will take place during the tournament. Four of the boxers who will be trying their luck in the tournament, Vincent “The Rock” Mulaudzi, Charles “Dynamite” Luvhengo, Ndivhuwo “Horsepower” Siliga and Khathutshelo “Teargas” Ndou are from Sibasa Boxing Club.
Simon “Golden Boy” Mukhoro from Nzhelele and Horsepower Siliga will be the first to enter the ring. Their bantamweight bout is scheduled over four rounds.
It will be followed by the featherweight fight between Rendani Ramudzuli and Charles Sikhwivhilu. Gariel Matodzi from Ngovhela and Charles Luvhengo from Tshaulu will exchange blows in their junior lightweight fight, which is scheduled over four rounds. Vincent Mulaudzi from Tswinga and Pitsi Sibula from Polokwane will meet in their junior middleweight fight a little later. Their fight is also scheduled over four rounds.
The main supporting bout will be in the bantamweight division between Mutshutshudzi “The Ghost” Mudau from Maungani and Teargas Ndou from Mukula.
The main bout will be between Mukondeleli “Destroyer” Ndou and Ryder “Earthquake” Muleba.
In an interview, the training manager of the Sibasa Boxing Club, Mr John Nemakonde, said that his boxers were sharpened to kill.
The entrance fee is R20 for adults and R10 for children. The tournament is scheduled to start at 18:00.
