Madodonga Limpopo Professionals were too strong for Zamenkomste Liverpool in the quarterfinals of the African Hardware knock-out match played at the Ravele grounds on Sunday. The final score was 3-0 in favour of Professionals.

Profesionals immediately took command of the game, in search of an early goal. The pressure increased on the Liverpool defenders, who continuously made mistakes. The guys who were giving the Liverpool defence a terrible headache were Patric Matlhamela and Evans Letsalo.

Mudimu Chuane picked up a long-range pass from Evans Letsalo in the middle of the pitch, beat his marker and passed the ball to the unmarked Patric Matlhamela, who beat the Liverpool keeper, Pfarelo Masindi. The goal prompted more attempts from Professionals, who invaded their opponents´ goal area on numerous occasions. The Kutama outfit was unfortunate when Thomas Mushia´s shot hit the post, with the Liverpool keeper, Pfarelo Masindi, well beaten.

Both sides frustrated their fans a great deal in the second half by wasting obvious chances. The second goal was scored in the 60th minute by Titus Ndou from the penalty mark, after a defender of the opposing team, Tshilidzi Muvhali, handled the ball inside the penality area and the referee pointed to the white spot.

In the last 20 minutes of the match, Liverpool enjoyed more ball possesion, but their promising moves were thwarted by the rock-solid defence of Professionals. The boys from Madodonga were cooling the ball down in the middle of the park, thereby giving their opponents no chance to do as they pleased.

The last goal of the match was scored in the 78th minute by Evans Letsalo.
