Madombidzha Arsenal gave Madodonga Limpopo Professionals a day to remember when they hammered them 4-0 in the Sir Tshiluvhu Alec-Autopage knockout match played at the Madombidzha grounds on Sunday, 21 August.

Dakalo Nwanamidwa of Arsenal beat all the defenders in a row and scored easily in the 12th minute. William Sidzhie of Arsenal was booked for a late tackle on Joseph Mabela in the 36th minute.

Arsenal found their second goal four minutes later. Rendani Sithodo made no mistake after receiving a neat pass from Mbengeni Rambuwani within the box and beat the offside trap to score.

Limpopo introduced Patrick Matamela for Mashudu Rasilalume in the 70th minute. Limpopo’s reliable midfield kingpin, Joseph Maluleke, received the ball at the edge of his own half and tried to pass it back to the goalkeeper, but it was intercepted by Simuka Netshivhangani, who beat the keeper hands down.

The last goal of the match and fourth goal of Arsenal was scored by Dakalo Nwanamidwa after his team was awarded a free kick.
