Local author Richard Rambau, from Ha Nthabalala, has launched not one but two new books this month, titled “Tap into your true potential and succeed” and “Becoming a highly effective employee”.
Rambau has been making waves with his powerful and heart-warming motivational talks and books on personal development, leadership, customer service, and organisational development. In his daily life, he offers counselling and coaching to individuals and organisations.
His writing skills have seen him release eight published books between 2017 and 2023. “The book ‘Tap into your true potential and succeed’ was written to help people discover their true potential and live up to its fulfilment. This book provokes the reader to stop underestimating his/her abilities and get up and work on their dreams. Everyone was born with great potential and a purpose to fulfil in life, and yet, many people die without unleashing their true potential. That is the reason why I wrote this book,” Rambau said.
The second book, “Becoming a highly effective employee”, was meant to help both employees and employers. “This book brings insight to the organisational systems and challenges that both employees and employers face on a daily basis. It helps the reader to discover ways and principles necessary for one to grow within the organisation. We spend so much time at work, and all we desire is to do better for ourselves and the organisation that we work for. For that reason, it is important to grow within the organisation and make a mark before you retire,” he said.
Rambau encourages people to use their talents. “We are living in times where life is not guaranteed. No one knows what will happen tomorrow. Whatever dream you may have, make sure you work on achieving it today. Remember that you are not here permanently. If you don’t fulfil your purpose now, no one else will do it for you. Stop making excuses and start working on fulfilling your God-given purpose. Live fully and die empty,” he said.
