GIYANI – The enthusiastic fans of Dynamos left Giyani Stadium with sore hearts after their team played to an unexpected 2-2 draw against Alexandra United in their Premier First Division match on Saturday. The draw has reduced their leadership margin as Dynamos are now leading the pack with 30 points, four ahead of Welkom Stars.

Highlandspark Silver Stars crushed Katlehong City 4-2 in a tit-for-tat game at the Katlehong Stadium. The only goal they had scored was good enough for Mabopane Young Masters to earn maximum points at the expense of Witbank Black Aces.

Ledwaba Power Stars donated the league points to Dobsonville All Nations following their 1-2 defeat. Pietersburg Pillars lost by the same margin to Bloemfontein Celtic at the Seisa Ramabodu Stadium in Bloemfontein and Bloemfontein Young Tigers walloped Mamelodi Juventus 6-0 at the same venue.

Sporting Football Club lost 0-2 to Welkom Stars, despite numerous fruitless attempts. Thembisa City Sharks beat Spartak 2-1 at Thembisa Stadium. Basotho Tigers were brutally walloped 1-4 by Rainbow Stars in Durban on Sunday.

The results for the other Coastal Stream matches are Premier United 0, William Pescod Football Club 0; Newtons 1, Saxon Rovers 1; PE Technikon 1, Avendale Athletico 1; Royal Tigers 1, Maritzburg City 3; FC Fortune 1, Park United 1 and African Wanderers 2, Mother City 1.
