Now or never for struggling Dynamos

Sport  Date: 05 April 2013

Dynamos will play two league matches in the space of four days, despite the fact that the team’s newly appointed head coach, Mr Shepherd Murape, is still battling to find a winning combination.

Murape took over from the former Platinum Stars mentor, Mr Owen da Gama, three weeks ago.

The Giyani outfit will travel to Cape Town tomorrow (Saturday, 6 April). They will play against the newly promoted Milano United FC in their NFL first division match at the Grassy Park Stadium. The pride of Giyani must win the matches at all cost, as time is fast running out for them. They are lying at the bottom of the 16-team log.

They will come back home to host Polokwane City at the Giyani Stadium next Wednesday, April 10. Polokwane City crushed them 3-0 in their first-round league match three weeks ago.

In the other NFD matches that will also be played tomorrow afternoon, Jomo Cosmos will enjoy the home-ground advantage in their match against Vasco da Gama. They will play at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa.

Blackburn Rovers and FC Cape Town will test each other’s strength at the Mthatha Stadium in the Eastern Cape. The match between Santos and United will be played at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.

On Sunday, Witbank Spurs will entertain the pace setters, Thanda Royal Zulu, at the Puma Rugby Stadium in Witbank. Sivutsa Stars will visit Polokwane City at the University of Limpopo Stadium and African Warriors and FC AK will meet at the Charles Mopedi Stadium.

The other matches which will be played next Wednesday evening are: United FC vs Vasco da Gama and Santos vs African Warriors.
