The two Zimbabwean nationals, who had allegedly stabbed and killed a 20-year-old man at Waterpoort last year, briefly appeared in the Louis Trichardt Magistrate´s Court on Tuesday.
The Sithole brothers, Moreboys (26) and Shaben (23,) have been charged with murder after they allegedly stabbed and killed Mr Cyril Ndou (20) at the Scrabjei Farm in July last year. According to a police report, the two were coming from a nearby farm when they visited Scrabjei Farm. "The two brothers were drunk when they visited the farm. It was reported that the two had been causing trouble, provoking people on the farms before the incident," said the spokesperson for the Waterpoort police, Warrant Officer Ezekiel Leshiba.
He said that Ndou was relaxing on the farm when the two started fighting with him. It ended when they allegedly stabbed him several times all over his body and he died at the scene of the incident. The two were arrested in Musina when they were trying to cross the border back to Zimbabwe.
The deceased, Cyril Ndou, was also a Zimbabwean national. The case has been postponed to Wednesday, April 6.
