THOHOYANDOU – The Northern Province North East Region Netball Association will stage a tournament today, Friday 9 August. In a statement from the association, it is reported that the tournament will be known as Capricorn Baking Netball Festival.

In the statement, the association has revealed that the tournament will be sponsored by the Thohoyandou based Capricorn Baking School to the tune of R5161.20. The winning team will walk away with a fabulous cash prize, a floating trophy, a netball kit and gold medals.

The second placed team will receive silver medals in recognition for its achievement. A set of bronze medals is awaiting the team that will obtain the third position. The tournament is scheduled to start at 09:00.
