Suspects rounded up

Louis Trichardt police arrested four suspects on Monday, March 3, in connection with a break-in at a business within the town’s central business area.

The break-in took place on Monday, February 18, when the suspects allegedly gained access through the back door of the clothing store in Songozwi Street. They then grabbed some expensive clothing, before fleeing the business.

The arrests followed after two suspects were found in possession of the suspected stolen clothing. A further two suspects were later connected to the crime.

According to local police spokesperson Capt Maano Sadike, all of the suspects were arrested within the Tshikota township area.

In another case of housebreaking and theft, police arrested two men for breaking into PJ Timbers in Industria Street, after which they allegedly stole cash, as well as a CCTV.
