GIYANI – Dynamos are faced with a mammoth task of beating Jomo Cosmos in order to secure a place in the SAA Super Eight KO competition. The two teams will meet in their Castle Premiership League fixture at the Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa next Wednesday, May 21.

The Giyani outfit desperately need the three points, as this will be their final league match. They are currently lying on the seventh spot with 40 points after playing 29 matches. A look at the track record for Dynamos shows that it will not be easy for them to grab a point from the match. They have lost eight of their last nine successive matches.

Their most recent embarrassment was a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Black Leopards a fortnight ago. On the other hand, Cosmos, who are lying on the tenth spot, are also in the hot contest to finish the league programme in the top eight. The match is schedule to start at 19:30.

Two matches will be played at various venues tomorrow. Orlando Pirates will play their second last match against Wits University at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in North West. Supersport United will take on African Wanderers at the HM Pitje Stadium in Pretoria. The two matches will start at 15:00.

Only one match will be played on Sunday. Moroka Swallows will battle it out for league points against Kaizer Chiefs at the Rand Stadium in Johannesburg. The other match that will be played next Wednesday will be between Bush Bucks and Sundowns Football Club, which will be played at the Absa Stadium in East London.
