Winners Park to pay for Basel’s defeat?
Following their 1-2 defeat at the hands of Giyani Hotspurs at the Giyani Stadium last Saturday, Basel FC are set to make Winners Park pay for their defeat. They will meet in their Vodacom Promotional League match at the Malamulele Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
The defeat was the first for Basel under the watchful eyes of Mr Justice Mtileni, who joined the club three months ago. The defence of Winners Park must contain the Basel speedy forward, Jafta Mabosho, or else they will be humiliated.
Phungo All Stars are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for their home match Magezi FC. It will be time for the former coach of Phungo All Stars, Mr Patrick Mulaudzi, to show his former employers that they committed a suicidal blunder by letting him go.
The logleaders, Baroka FC, will rub shoulders with Rospa United FC at the Jane Furse Stadium.
The Polokwane derby between Super Eagles and Mighty FC will be staged at the Seshego Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Fanang Diatla FC will be lucky if they manage to hold Giyani Hotspurs to a draw. Although it will be an away fixture for them, Hotspurs are not easy to beat of late. Nobela All Stars will be away to fight for more points against Lephalale Young Killers. They will meet at the Mogol Stadium in Lephalale. Blue Rocks will entertain Dinare FC at the Moloto Stadium in Polokwane.
Modimolle Aces, who beat Rospa United 2-0 at the Tshifulanani Stadium last Saturday, will host The Dolphins at the Ephraim Mohale Stadium in Modimolle.
