Zimbabwean dies in bar lounge attack

KHALAVHA - Bar lounge laughter changed to screams of terror, when a 24-year-old resident of Khalavha allegedly stabbed and killed a 26-year-old Zimbabwean at the Khalavha bar lounge on Sunday.

The alleged incident took place during the night when residents, including seven foreigners, were drinking traditional beer. It is alleged that the suspect had sold a blanket to the Zimbabwean and they agreed that the buyer should pay a certain amount per month. The agreement was allegedly broken and as such the suspect, who is known to Mirror demanded money from the Zimbabwean.

The latter's failure to produce the money changed the bar lounge into a butchery, when the suspect allegedly produced a knife and stabbed the foreigner in the chest, back and stomach. He died the next day and six of his colleagues fled for survival.

The police have staged a massive manhunt after this bloody incident
