Although Gogobole Bucs dominated the entire game, they finally had to suffer the pain of defeat in their Limpopo Dairy League match against Ramantsha FC at Ramantsha on Saturday. Ramantsha won the match 3-1.
The game was characterised by rough play, but the strict referee, Mr David Nyalungu, did not let any culprit go unpunished. He flashed two yellow cards in the first half and cautioned Sonnyboy Mbambu and Try Sebola for rough play.
Bucs' right flank, Lutendo Mabasa, missed a clear chance in the 16th minute and his team-mate, Fulufhelo Ramphai, made the same mistake five minutes later.
The home side blew the trumpet when the game was 27 minutes old. Their opening goal was scored by Tsepo Thovhakale, who finished off a rebound. That was the only goal for the first half. Realising that their diminutive striker Andani Ramabulana's fighting spirit was fading with time, Ramantsha replaced him with Steven Thovhakale in the 57th minute.
A mistake by the Bucs sweeper, Victor Mulaudzi, led to Bucs' second goal, which was also scored by Tsepo Thovhakale in the 66th minute. A few minutes later, Try Sebola of Bucs was red-carded for a second bookable offence.
Tsepo Thovhakale completed his hat-trick when he finished a square pass from Khorommbi Mudimeli. Late in the match, a defender of Ramantsha, Steven Thovhakale, was red-carded for rough play.
Ndivhuwo Fhetani scored the only goal of Bucs in the dying minutes.
