Malamulele Stadium is expected to be packed to capacity on Saturday afternoon. That is where the much-awaited Vhembe derby between Rospa United and Basel FC will be staged.
Although it will not be easy for them, Rospa must win the match in order to restore their pride. They lost their last two matches in a row. Their most recent defeat was at the hands of the struggling Magezi FC, to whom they lost 2-3 at the Tshifulanani Stadium last Sunday.
Basel’s killer striker, Jafta Mabosho, will be available for selection tomorrow. Mabosho was out of action for two weeks, after sustaining an injury in their match against Super Eagles two weeks ago.
In another Vodacom Promotional League matche that will also be played Saturday afternoon, Mighty FC will play against Fanang Diatla at the Lebowakgomo Stadium. Only a miracle can save Fanang Diatla from relegation at the end of the season.
Nobela All Stars will meet Giyani Hotspurs at the Giyani Stadium, while the other relegation candidates, Super Eagles, will pay a visit to Lephalale Young Killers.
Magezi FC are set to give The Dolphins a tough time, when they lock horns at the Seshego Stadium. The defending champions, Baroka FC, will be away to collect points at the expense of Dinare FC.
Phungo All Stars will enjoy the home-ground advantage in their fixture against Modimolle Aces. They will meet at the Louis Trichardt Eltivillas grounds. In the final Vodacom League match of the weekend, Winners Park and Blue Rocks will battle it out at the Mahwelereng Stadium.
