Gogobole Bucs beat the log leaders of the Limpopo Dairy league, Madombidzha Celtic, 1-0 in a tough match at Gogobole on Sunday.

Celtic's killer striker, Mnini Mulaudzi, missed an easy opportunity early in the match. As part of their strategy to disorganise their opponents, Celtic displayed their dribbling skills in the middle of the park. Celtic missed another chance when Khuthadzo Kahrivhe's header missed the target by inches.

Things turned against the team from Madombidzha shortly after Bucs introduced Rudzani Thagwana for Sinugo Sikhwivhilu. Thagwana was a difficult man to contain. His first touch on the ball ended with an attempt at goal, which saw the Celtic keeper,Takalani Ratombo, stretching to the limit to fist the ball away. Celtic later introduced Thabo Ramathlo for Masilo Moshuka.

Lutendo Mabasa scored the only goal of the match. He unleashed a volley that left Madambi a flabbergasted man. Celtic would have found an equaliser, but Thabo Ramathlo shot wide from close range in the dying minutes of the match.
