LTT beat Seshego with 110 runs in Premier clash

The Louis Trichardt Cricket Club came up against the much-acclaimed Seshego side in Polokwane on Sunday in an important clash in the Limpopo Premier League, but beat them convincingly by 101 runs.

Louis Trichardt were asked to bat first and, thanks to good contributions by Ikram Patel (47) and Leon Olwage (41), got off to a good start. Nimesh Watiker (34) and a few of the others made good contributions and took the score to 238.

Seshego's batsmen could not match the accurate bowling of their neighbours and lost wickets in regular succession. For Louis Trichardt, Ikram Khamboli was the most successful bowler, taking 3/15 in six overs. Ikram Patel took 2/19 in four overs and Leon Olwage also claimed 2 wickets while conceding 19 runs in his four overs.
