Out due to injury - Khuliso Netshaulu of Maweja.

Joe Maweja away to collect more points

After a break of about four weeks, the affiliates for the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League will be back in action this weekend.

Joe Maweja will commence the new year with an away fixture. They will travel all the way to Bela Bela. Their match against A1 Terrors will be played at the Bela Bela Sunfa Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

Should they fail to collect the maximum points tomorrow, Joe Maweja will have nobody to blame but themselves. Terrors are still to win a league match this season. They drew once in the nine league matches they had played to date.

On the other hand, Joe Maweja are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with. They won two of the three league matches they have played so far and lost 2-3 to Gawula Classic at the Giyani Stadium. The playmaker of Maweja, Khuliso Netshaulu, will not travel with the team tomorrow. He is still nursing the injuries he sustained when he was knocked down by a car three months ago. Khumbudzo Muvhango, the team’s dribbling wizard, will fill the gap.

Bilika All Stars will lock horns with The Dolphins FC at the Eldorado Stadium in Polokwane. Gawula Classic are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for their home match against Mighty FC at the Giyani Stadium. Mosesetjane All Stars will entertain Giyani Hotspurs at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane.

All eyes will be on the match between Bellevue Winners Park and Great North FC at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen. Winners Park and Great North are close contenders for the league title. Nkowankowa Barcelona will play against Magezi FC at the Nkowankowa Stadium on Sunday.

The Polokwane derby between Polokwane United and Polokwane Academy will be staged at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, while Boyne Young Tiger will host Lephalale Young Killers at the Boyne Stadium.
