Black Leopards to face Thanda Royal

Black Leopards must win their remaining 12 league matches if they are serious about gaining promotion to the Absa Premiership League at the end of the season.

The Thohoyandou outfit will travel to Richards Bay this weekend, where they will meet Thanda Royal Zulu at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex.

It remains to be seen whether Lidoda Duvha will continue from where they left off when they beat Thanda 1-0 at the Thohoyandou Stadium two months ago. Things are going from bad to worse in the Thanda Royal Zulu camp. They lost 1-3 to Milano United at the Cape Town Stadium last weekend. This after they had parted ways with their team’s head coach, Mr David Bright, last Wednesday.

Black Leopards will leave behind their playmaker, Leonard Ntshangase, as he is still nursing the injury he sustained in their game against Mbombela United at the Kanyamazane Stadium in Nelspruit two weeks ago.  Other injured Leopards players who will not be available for selection tomorrow include Thivhavhudzi Ndou, Marks Munyai and Jonathan King.

Santos will host Highlandspark at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town. Santos are still fresh from a 4-0 victory over Cape Town All Stars. Moroka Swallows and Mthatha Bucks will battle it out at the Dobsonville Stadium. Milano United will pay a visit to Witbank Spurs at the Puma Rugby Stadium in Emalahleni.

The Cape Town derby between Vasco da Gama and Cape Town All Stars will be played at the Parow Park Stadium and the log-leaders, Baroka, are awaiting FC Cape Town at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

Royal Eagles will host African Warriors at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban, while Mbombela United will entertain Amazulu at the Kanyamazane Stadium in Nelspruit.
