DNA links man to rape

A 44-year-old man from Tshisahulu outside Thohoyandou was sentenced to life in prison for the rape of a 13-year-old girl. The case was finalised in the Thohoyandou High Court last Thursday.

Magistrate arrested over hit list

Controversial regional magistrate Ronnie Rambau was arrested yet again over the past weekend, this time on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder. Rambau’s arrest follows the discovery of a hit list compiled in his own handwriting. The list was handed to members of the police’s Counter Intelligence Unit for investigation.
