Univen rocked by suspensions

The community of Magangeni Village in the Elim area and surrounding villages is still shocked about the death of an 81-year-old man, who is believed to have been ritually murdered. The victim, Mr Wilson Magau of Magangeni, was reported missing on March 26. Apparently, the victim left home to attend a funeral in the village and never came back.

The case of car theft in which a 29-year-old Zimbabwean, who was allegedly linked to a cross-border vehicle theft syndicate after he was found in possession of a Nissan Navarra worth R200 000, has been withdrawn because of inadequate evidence. It was suspected that the vehicle had been stolen in South Africa.
