Local boys picked for international sevens tournament

Two of Louis Trichardt’s very own young rugby players have been handpicked to be part of an international sevens tournament later this year.AC Geldenhuys and Ali Sofele are both pupils at Louis Trichardt High School who play for their first rugby team. Three weeks ago, the two’s team played a match against Merensky High School, where they were selected for the Eagles Invitational U/19 team that has entered the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens tournament.

The Ravele Communal Property Association (CPA) responded to criticism and a pending court case, saying that all was well with the CPA and that the track record of the company spoke for itself. The CPA described the action of the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform (DRDLR) to file for a motion in the Gauteng North High Court as inappropriate and also suggested that personal vendettas might be the underlying reason for the action.
