New traditional leader installed at Mauluma village

A new traditional leader was installed in Mauluma village last Friday during a glittering ceremony filled with jubilation. The community spent almost 18 months without a traditional leader and the installation of the new chief was a joyous occasion.

Residents of Mavhunga RDP complex clashed with the police on Saturday. This after the community was accusing a local resident for allegedly raping and murdering an 11-year-old child in the area. Police were trying to rescue the man from the community's wrath.
