Soccer game ends in chaos

The SAB League match between Benjies Football Club and Kgapane Young Stars, that was played at the Giyani Section F grounds on Saturday ended in chaos. The winner in the match would have been declared the champions for the Limpopo East Regional Association.

No more long walks to fetch water

A poor rural school that has never owned a soccer kit since its establishment 18 years ago, got a new lease on life when a good Samaritan donated a soccer kit worth R2 900 on Friday. Learners of Ndidivhani Primary School in Matangari village, used to take off the upper parts of their outfits and wear nothing, since they had no unifrom of their own.

Reward for recovering human body parts

The Vhembe Police’s Serious and Violent Crime Unit was awarded R5 000 by the MEC for Security, Safety and Liaison, Machwene Semenya, after recovering human body parts of ritual murder victims, Maanda Sendedza of Makonde village and an unidentified 40-year-old man, whose mutilated body was discovered at Mafukani village in 2004.
