It took fire fighters more than seven hours to extinguish a mysterious fire that torched the Thohoyandou Shoprite Store on Sunday night. Damage estimated at millions of rands was caused as the flames grew bigger and bigger, minute by minute. Local fire fighters, with backup from the Mopani Emergency Services, managed to put out the fire in the early hours of Monday morning.
