Body exhumed to remove “muti and strange things” from coffin

Less than a month after Mrs Maria Munonoka (58) of Madombidzha was buried at the local graveyard, her children, with the support of community members, exhumed her body on Wednesday with the idea of removing “muti and other strange things” from the deceased’s coffin.

Bishop in court again on muti murder charge

Bishop Joseph Tanzwani Ramafamba of the Holiness Apostolic Church briefly appeared in the Thohoyandou Magistrate’s Court for the second time on Wednesday last week. He is charged with ritual murder, attempted murder and robbery, following the incident that happened at Makonde-Shadani on 23 October last year.
